A little nostalgia this morning.

Last July, during an interview, the blogger asked me why I write. My answer was simple. "I love to read, but my mind often wandered to my own ideas, and then one day that idea came through a dream. Since then, creating stories has been my passion, and I’m thrilled to be able to finally publish them.”

In 2009, the idea of publishing a book was so far from reality, but it didn't stop me from writing. Regardless if I ever intended to publish it. I traveled to East Greenwich, sat in a cheap motel, without a laptop, and wrote down my ideas as I toured the town that weirdly popped in my head as I was fifty pages into my story.

Writing was easy, but creating a story to the point of publishing it, wasn't. I am blessed, humbled and appreciative of the incredible support my family, friends and dedicated readers have shown me.

This picture reminds me that we all have to start somewhere. An idea, a notepad, a pen, and self-doubt. Without that last part, nothing would have pushed me harder.
